Standard Plastic Hose – This type of hose is
ideal for a variety of general cleaning applications,
including wet or dry material collection. It is lightweight
and flexible, so operators will be comfortable working
with it. This hose has a temperature range of -34o C
to 60o C, and is available in 32, 38, and 50mm diameter
sizes. Each size has its own associated cuff to provide
an easy means of connecting the hose to various vacuum
nozzles and vacuum couplings. The standard plastic hose
is available in any length up to 25 meters.
Anti-Static Plastic – Anti-Static Plastic Hoses
are ideal for static control. They are made of carbon-impregnated
plastic, as are the vinyl cuffs that attach the hose
to the vacuum and the wands. A highly flexible construction
with a smooth interior ensures maximum airflow. The
crush-proof, non-wire construction allows this hose
to be crushed, kinked, and twisted, yet revert back
to its original shape. It provides excellent resistance
to aging and chemicals, is inert to ozone, and resists
the stress of continual movement or vibration. It is
also resistant to attack from most mineral oils, acids
and alkalis. However, it is not to be used in transferring
gasoline, oil solvent, or kerosene. This hose can also
withstand temperatures from -40°C to +60°C without
cracking or damage. The black vinyl anti-static hose

Neoprene – Nilfisk offers a heavy-duty neoprene
hose that is suitable for tough industrial applications.
The hose consists of 4 layers of material wrapped in
a carbon impregnated rubber casing. It is steel wire
reinforced and smooth lined. Because of the wire and
the carbon-impregnated cover, the neoprene hose is conductive.
The neoprene hose is ideal for collecting dry materials
that may cause static to build up. Static discharge
has the potential to adversely affect your product,
cause discomfort to the operator, or in hazardous locations
cause explosions. This type of hose can also withstand
temperatures from -3°C to +100°C without cracking
or damage. Neoprene hoses are available in 32, 38, 50,
and 70mm and in 6’ and 10’ lengths.
Nitrile – This specialty hose is offered for
use with our Explosion-Proof Vacuums. Its unique properties
make it ideal for use in the collection of gas, kerosene,
or oil-based solvents. It is smooth-lined with steel
wire reinforcement to ensure conductivity. Nitrile hose
is available in 38mm in 10’, 15’, and 25’ lengths.
Gray PVC – Nilfisk offers gray PVC, smooth lined
hose. It is lightweight and flexible. It is suitable
for collecting non-abrasive dust. This type of hose
can withstand temperatures from -15°C to +60°C
without cracking or damage. The gray PVC hose comes
diameters of 38mm, 50mm, 70mm, and 100mm and is sold
by the meter in 50 meter maximum lengths.

for special high-temperature applications. The hose
is zinc plated and features ceramic fiber insulation.
